
Henry McMahon is a painter based in Ridgewood, Queens. His writing on art has appeared in Painter’s Table, Paper Monument, Art New England Magazine and artcritical.com. Having recently converted his studio into a nursery, his paintings might come less frequently than short reviews, which can be written at all hours of the night. Current enthusiasms include the novels of Tom McCarthy and Karl Ove Knausgaard, and the criticism of Zadie Smith, Arthur Danto and Arthur C. McGill.
