Clarity Haynes and Kate Hawes talk to painter Brenda Goodman whose work will be on view at Jeff Bailey Gallery (Booth 4.07) at NADA Art Fair, New York from March 2 – 5, 2017.

Goodman comments: “I did [abstract paintings] for ten years and I felt like ‘I need more than this’ and that’s when I started doing the self-portraits. And then after that I wanted to combine the two because they both meant something. That’s the combination I like the best. It gives me the joy of abstraction and it has the content.”
